2009 Bride's Choice Award!

2008 was a great year, providing me the chance to work with some amazing couples. I'm very grateful for your friendship and thank you for the opportunity to be part of your special day. Your appreciation of my work means the world to me.
Looking forward to an even greater 2009!

Official Press Release:
WeddingWire, the nation’s leading wedding technology company, just announced that Agie Photography has won the 2009 Bride’s Choice Awards™!

In its inaugural year, the Bride’s Choice Awards recognizes and honors vendors from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellent quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and flexibility. This year’s recipients represent the top three percent of WeddingWire’s vendor community, which includes over 100,000 wedding vendors from across the US. That means Agie Photography is one of the very best Wedding Photographers.

Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds through surveys and reviews.

“We are excited to launch this annual award program to honor high-performing vendors based solely on the experiences of our WeddingWire community,” according to Timothy Chi, WeddingWire’s Chief Executive Officer. “This year’s recipients have set the bar high, exhibiting excellent service and expertise in the wedding industry.”
Agie Photography would like to thank our past clients for speaking on our behalf and helping us win the 2009 Bride’s Choice Award!

Tina & Nihar - Wedding

Tina & Nihar were married on the 3rd of Jan in Nashville, TN. The traditional hindu ceremony was held at the Sri Ganesha Temple. Since the Ceremony was at 8.30am we started shooting Tina getting ready from 4am. I'm pretty sure that's the earliest I have ever started working. The only other wedding were I did any shoot at 4am was the one shot in Grand Cayman about 6 years ago, but that was the ending of that one. (Even the last shot was in focus, but the exposure might have been compromised!!!)
Reception was held at the Embassy Suites in Franklin, TN. Amazing wedding decorations were done by Sushil from Utopianevents. The videographers were Naz & Seema from Zamana Photo. Tina's makeup was done by Sherita Leslie from MakeupNashville. Yummy 5 tier chocolate cake was created by SignatureCakesbyVicky
DJ Kumar from POHPMusic did an amazing job. This was one rocking party.
The day before the wedding we did an engagement session at the Parthenon in Nashville.
Here are some of the photos from both the days. Congrats you two and Thanks for the fun times.

Heather Manning - Senior Portraits

We shot cool Heather's cool senior portraits towards the end of 2008, but I completely forgot to post them here. Sorry Heather....
Here are some of them.

Album Specialist

We are happy to announce the addition of Maria Sulyok as our Album Specialist. Maria will be working along with me to design all our 2009 wedding albums. Welcome to our Agie Photography family and we look forward to working with you.

Alaina & Paul - Wedding

Alaina & Paul were married on the 13th of Dec. The ceremony was held at the First Presbyterian Church in York, SC. They both met in High School, went to Clemson together and here we are. Paul popped the question on the 5th of Oct 2007 during a visit to the SC Botanical Gardens in Clemson. The reception was held at the Palisades Country Club in Charlotte. Alaina's makeup was done by MaryKay Director Carrie. DJ John Romano from Music Express kept the party rocking late into the night. Cake was by Barbara Love and the flower arrangements were done by Magnolia House Florists from Lake Wylie. Alaina looked stunning in a Maggie Sottero dress.
Congrats Alaina & Paul.
Here are some of my favorites.
